Cara Noel (born Cara Lynn Anderson) is an American actress. Known for both her comedic and dramatic performances, she has acted in many short films which led to receiving the Best Actress award for her work in Men Are Dogs at the Orlando Independent Filmmakers ARISE Challenge and The Rift at the Colorado Film Festival. She then appeared in her first feature film  Tattletale Corpse  followed with The Watchman’s Edict and her first television drama series Hustler: the series, as well as, co-starring in Beyond Scope.

Noel began her acting career several years after relocating to Florida in the 1990’s, exploring various roles in the entertainment field at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. After taking a break from entertainment to complete a degree in the Health and Fitness field, she returned to her passion for acting in 2015, where she began extensive training at Truthful Acting Studios with a focus in the Sanford Meisner technique. Noel also took classes in long form improv, stunt and combat training, as well as, various workshops in movement and physicality.

 

In 2017, Noel went to Los Angeles exploring film, working on set as stand-in and background on 26 different shows such as NCIS, The Morning Show, Lethal Weapon, Curb Your Enthusiasm, etc. She returned to Central Florida in 2019 to expand her experience and training by delving into theater. Theatrical performances included Eric Bogosian’s dramatic production of "Talk Radio" at Theater on the Edge, followed by a Ten Minute Tuesday play performance of "Hallmark Doesn't Make Cards for Us" with Pheonix Tears Productions, where she was found to have "intensely raw emotional performances" by Orlando Sentinal's Seth Kubersky. Noel then jumped into comedy at Surfside Playhouse in Cocoa Beach, performing in various productions such as "A Gentleman and a Scoudrel", "Bus Stop", and "Up (The Man in the Flying Chair)", asw well as a debut at the Orlando's Fringe Festival in her first musical, the original "herstory" of "Confessions of a Flirt". She continues her career in the southeast region working in film and tv. Noel recently won best actress in the award-winning short film Men Are Dogs as the lovable relatable Lucy.
